This is the current challenge. There were a ton of wires criss crossing the whole challenge image. I wanted to make the painting seem foggy. I was really lost on how to paint all the geometrics of all the buildings. I would say that Jeremy Mann is the man when it comes to all the buildings. I'll see if I like this enough to submit.

i used to live in SF, u've totally captured that foggy city!
It looks like a foggy, early autumn scene. I especially like the whole STOP sign board as an echo to the car rear lights red.
Wonderful atmosphere - you definitely made this look like fog! I like the whole color palette of this - very nice!
This is my favourite of all the DSFDF paintings submitted so far, so I just had to come here and tell you! You've really captured the subject well.
I like the fog in the bay area.
You made it perfect!
Hi Mark
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I get to meet new people and check out their blogs! I like the way you went for the misty foggy look in this scene. Coming from Canada, I'm afraid I don't have enough first hand experience of the coast to make such dramatic changes. The detail of the car is great.
Love the foggy approach, and your car detail is right on!
I love the technique that you used and the fog! Your painting stands out.
Wow Mark - really great job with your values on the car! Well done!!
Great foggy SF scene Mark...I love the car too!
Hi Mark, I love your rendition of the San Francisco Street. You captured the feeling of that city quite well.Well drawn car, too. Silvia
Love the foggy street. So it must be a morning scene?
Really nice job. It FEELS like SF to me!
You hit it on the nose! Visited the city and the fog was amazing. Thanks too for your comment on my entry. ANDREA
Mark this is exactly how I remember SF!! Now I'm jealous, wish I had though of it! :) Great job!
Great fog scene for the SF piece, perfect.
Love the fog! Great entry!
The foggy scene is a great idea....very nice composition. And I like your car detail. Thanks for visiting my blog. Your profile photo is cool and kinda creepy. It's a little bit conehead and yet not....more of a Cat in the Hat head.
Love the way you captured the feeling of a foggy San Francisco day. Lori Margulies

You've really nailed the foggy look well and I like the close up of the car. Very nice!
