Bass marsh

6x8 oil on wood

By the side of the road painting. Cars zooming by and the Sun was out at last and it was hot. It's a little tricky to do these paintings when your used to the set up at home. The water here isn't this bright blue more dull in the painting.

Rocks at Seawall

6x8 oil on wood

Just a rock ledge down at sea wall. If you look a little to the left you would see the point from the last painting.

Sea wall point

6x8 oil on wood

Tough getting good pc edit tools. This is the point on the seawall down the road from the house.
This below is a tomato on the vine. My hand.

Mom's Coneflowers

6x8 oil on wood. studio painting

Rained today so couldn't paint out side. So I worked from the photo of the flowers in front of the house. 58 out right now. It's like the out side is air conditioned.

Flower jug

8x6 oil on wood

Over cast while painting with a burst of sun to show the shadows. Tough going trying to set up different than at home. Out on the picknick table and using gimp software to edit with. Wild looking photo.
About 45 deg. different from Dallas. Love it.
Looking north at Southwest harbor, Maine.
