This is a park area next to the library. If you turn around, it's a view of the harbor. Guess i didn't get the window looking very painterly. Most times i try to get too artistic and it goes way wrong.
This is a hugh yellow house at York harbor beach. I left out the next two homes because i could. I was still working on the stormy sky. This was from last summer, my aunt lives in back of this home.
This is just a few miles north of the race track. There were a bunch of cattle there but i kept making blobs. Don't know how folks make suggested stuff so small.
I was leaning to go with this version. I've wanted for the subject to emerge from shadow, some what different from the ref photo. Might have pulled it off.
This is my start on the challenge so far. I got a little tired after a few hours, so i stopped for now, and look at it a while. Maybe some one will help me out.
Since i had the cherries and some where light and some dark, they would work in a painting. Didn't pull off the bowl shape well, and the stacked cherries not so much.
This is what I have for the current Challenge. It seems done well enough to pass for the ref. The back ground is a view of Puerto Vallarta with the mountains. Those aren't clouds ! I'll think about it a few days to see if i can improve it
