Well this is the result of 4 reworks since the last post. Not so sure that looks like grass.

Below is a photo from my trip to Monhegan Island a while back.

Green cup and apple

Made a little boo boo with the right side of the cup. Dang it. It seemed hard to make this one lay down. Not sure what to do to make it proper. 

Pepper and onion on seafoam green

And for Saturday we have salad fixings on a bed of sea foam green.

Seems a little fussy and should be redone. Rats.

Just a bowl of apples on a olive mat.

Creek

Just practice with the creek to work on the twiggy brush strokes. I'll need to make my own brush i think

Just sketching around looking at Bob Rohms dvd cover to see what i could come up with. I think i'll go out tomorrow and find a hill and do a few trees.

Cast 3

Working on the planes of the head cast again. I just free handed this, but i tried to sight size it, but too much for today.

Different angle but it looks a bit wonky. Only wanted to work on some of the face, not the whole. Makes your brain tired.

Working on planes of the head.  There were more planes than i had made shades for, so I'll have to think a little next time. I'll just move the lighting around to get a new view. It takes a long time to draw all those planes and get them close to correct.
