I thought that I would copy a Winslow Homer painting for this week. It's not easy. Those old timers are using a different technique that I did. Think they used glazing. Me, just the brush. I used Prussian blue, but he might have used phthalocyan blue. My version is still cooler that just a poster print.
Here is a copy of an Ed Potthast that I liked, and thought that would make a good challenge for me. It's a loose style where the figures aren't painted in detail. It might be classed as an Impressionist painting.
