                  Working from a Sorrolla. It came out well for me. That basket (canasta) thingy wasn't to well defined in the ref. but I think the face it where you want to look.

                        I worked on this for 2 hours. I started to lose control, so this is where I stopped. That eye to the left is in the darkness and I messed it up at the end today.

              Image from Googles street view. This is for the Virtual paint out blog. You just use google's street view of the location of the month, Canary Islands, and if you see something good paint it. Now I have to see if i can do all the email with links and info to go through the first time. Yeah, fingers crossed on this one.

Saturday painting

              I worked on this for 3 hrs. and still couldn't quite get those eyes to turn upwards. I'll just say she's in a daze, thinking "I hope he gets my eyes right".

                 Some one suggested that I should try two tones Blue and Burnt sienna. One for the warm side and one for the cool side. I didn't pull that off. I stopped at the 2 hour mark.

Couldn't wait until Saturday to work on this.

Here's my block-in 2hrs. with the Livestream group. You can click on the video to see where Jon got. Some folks watch Jon paint, then paint afterwards. I painted while he painted but didn't follow him in any way really. In a few years i should come around to better results, right?
