That apple has poor value. I got behind on that value, and couldn't bring it around. I did wipe it off twice but.....Must be tough going for the paint today.
This is an apple. I guess the photo washed out more of the red in the light side of the apple and it looks too yellow. The pink cylinder is the same color as the box shape used in my other paintings.
These are paintings of "the planes of the face" plaster cast. The second is a little blurry in the photo. They're both the same size, just cropped a little off. The second has the cast rotated to the light a little bit. Different pose.
This is looking the other way, down the road from the last painting. Who thought that school work would get in the way of a little painting? The horizon was really this hazy.
