8x10 oil on wood I saw this gate this afternoon. I had a Circle with a "V" in the center. A little hard to see against the sky.
Some cattle down the road from the painting. One looks like a Appaloosa.
Here are some thistles i saw down the road from the cattle. Never saw them this intense, most times they are washed out purple.

The painting looks like a Marc Hanson - nice! I love the brushwork and colors! Those longhorns look mad...that thistle IS very purple, must be just the right weather for em.
