8x16 oil on hardboard
This is what I have for the current Challenge. It seems done well enough to pass for the ref. The back ground is a view of Puerto Vallarta with the mountains. Those aren't clouds ! I'll think about it a few days to see if i can improve it

Very nice, Mark! I am pulling back out of my tailspin...should be back on the grid very soon - after one more short trip to the city to make sure mom is doing well after second chemo and to see my grandaughter one more time@!
This is great, Mark. I love the addition of the buildings in the background. Viewing this as a Michigan native, I'm imagining she's on Lake Michigan with Chicago in the background.

Nice work on this one, Mark! I like it! I used to live in Michigan and have been to Chicago quite a few times. Thought you did a good job of showing the city, then read your post. Ha!
