A little fruit and a little jug i crafted (1992). I almost ate all the cherries before remembering to use them in a painting. I think i'll use them tomorrow also.
This is facing north standing on Sound dr. ( i think ) If you look the other way you see Somesville and the sound. It's nice a peaceful, and i thought that even though there isn't a good subject standing out, i could still just paint it. It's dark woods on the left side.
Looking across to Otter cliffs in Acadia NP. Just trying to get a feel for the scene, and not any subject of focus, like a lobster boat or kid jumping on the rocks.
Saw these two herons on a sunny spot of the bank. They don't stand out so well, but they were eyeballing me so i did what i could. This is right here in Las Colinas.
This barn is located about 10 miles south of the scissor tailed flycatcher's location. Fore ground might be too brushy looking in the painting, but it was like that in life. Struggling with the forming of the oak tree foliage. Maybe use a round brush and use a pounce method.
Was trying to get the little boat house, and the trees around the far area to look painterlyish. I think that i should have used thicker paint on the house, to pop it out, maybe. So i did see what it would look changed a little. Not rocking it though.
This is a Scissor tailed flycatcher. This painting is looking South-southeast towards Grandbury, TX. and is mid way between Weatherford and Cresson . It's like yesterdays painting a lot, in it's form
