Warm day yesterday, along the walking trail looking towards the river.

Nuevo sunset

A sunset down in Nuevo Vallarta. The horizon line was a gray cloud layer and the water up to the beach wasn't reflecting the sun and sky colors. The lagoon reflected these colors though.

Here's looking at the sun set from the causeway. I think the chroma of the colors is too high. The whole thing doesn't look good.

Saw these red berries on a bush and thought that they might be good for a little painting. I suppose that i should work on making the leaves a little more defined.

This is for the current challenge. I said forget trying to make all those little folds and what not and go for some shapes that match some of the ref photo. I didn't look at the other folks take on the subject, and maybe i should have. :)

Apple and Pink tube

These canvas panels show a glair in the weave when taking the photo.

My PowerPoint teacher got carted off in the ambulance to the hospital with the flu. So no class these past two nights. Is my throat feeling scratchy?

I had the lone apple there, so he gets to pose. The reflective spot on the dark side of the apple seems a little too bright.
