Still at it. I hung fabric off the back of the table that the apples are sitting on. I think that i'm making the contrast too strong to give a natural feel to the folds. I'll keep at it.
I was messing around, and used this board to wipe my brush on. Then i thought that it might make for a test landscape. The panel had some goopy gesso runs on it, that tried to hide in the sky.
Little roma tomato next to the jug. The tomato came out of the fridg so it had a little dew on it and had a frosty look to the light side. Some days the paint work, some, not so much.
This is the current challenge. There were a ton of wires criss crossing the whole challenge image. I wanted to make the painting seem foggy. I was really lost on how to paint all the geometrics of all the buildings. I would say that Jeremy Mann is the man when it comes to all the buildings. I'll see if I like this enough to submit.
